About Bharathidasan Institute of Management
Bharathidasan
Institute of Management has pioneered the concept of a business
school with an industry linkage through its symbiotic relationship
with BHEL since its inception in 1984. BIM enjoys a unique
symbiotic relationship with BHEL in terms of academic inputs
and continuous industry exposure. BIM enjoys the privilege
of being associated with DRDO as the sole collaborator for
transforming selected scientists of DRDO into technology
managers.
Eligibility and Selection Procedure of Bharathidasan
Institute of Management
Bachelor's
degree (3-year) or equivalent in any discipline. Selection
based on Common Admission Test (CAT), group discussion
and personal interview.

Infrastructure of Bharathidasan Institute
of Management is -
The
Institute has a library with a comprehensive collection
of more than 10,000 volumes, journals, periodicals, Online
Databases. The Computer Centre and Hostel Rooms are connected
to the internet by an exclusive 10 Mbps leased line connection.
WI-FI has been enabled in and around classrooms. All classrooms
are fully air conditioned and equipped with audio visual
aids like LCD projector, Direct Overhead Projector, Television
and a Computer with multi media facilities with Internet
facility. The Institute also has access to a large centrally
air-conditioned auditorium with a capacity to house more
than 1500 people. The course is fully residential with
separate hostels for men and women. Both the hostels are
located within the BHEL complex in the vicinity of the
Institute.
