Patel Post Graduate Institute of Business Management is
a Constituent Postgraduate Department of Sardar Patel University.
The Postgraduate Institute of Business Management at Sardar
Patel University was established in 1982 with the help of
a generous donation from Shri. G. H. Patel with a view to
impart professional management education and training to
executives and personnel employed in various organizations
in the vicinity of Vallabh Vidyanagar and Anand. The institute
initially offered five postgraduate diploma courses in the
areas of Marketing, Finance, Personnel, Production and Business
Management to cater to the requirements of business and
industry.
Eligibility, Selection and Fee of G.H. Patel PG Institute of Business Management
Bachelor's
degree (3-year) or equivalent in any discipline. Selection
based on written test and the performance in Interview.
Fees is around Rs 1 lac.

Infrastructure of G.H. Patel PG Institute of Business Management is -
Institute has a richly stocked library and a well-equipped
computer room. The Institute has a large auditorium cum
seminar hall with a seating capacity of 300 persons. A
separate NRI hostel with 26 double-seated rooms having
all facilities was commissioned on 15 June 2001 and is
now fully functional. The institute also has a fully air
conditioned Seminar/Conference room with a capacity to
accommodate 80 persons.

PG Institute of Business Management are -
- Master of Business Administration (2 years full time)
- Ph. D (Full Time or Part time) through thesis work
in ‘Management’
- One year P G Diploma courses in Marketing and Business
Administration
- P G Diploma in Logistics and Retail Management (PGDRLM)
A
two-year (full-time) MBA Programme was started in 1989.
The programme, currently, has an intake of 80 students
and is duly approved by All India Council for Technical
Education, (AICTE).
