About IIFT Delhi
The
Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) was set up in 1963
by the Government of India as an autonomous organisation
to help professionalise the country's foreign trade management
and increase exports by developing human resources; generating,
analysing and disseminating data; and conducting research.
Eligibility, Selection and Fee of IIFT Delhi
Bachelor's
degree (3-year) or equivalent in any discipline. Admission
on the basis of Written test, Group Discussion and
Interview. The admission test is a multiple choice
objective type written test (in English). Duration
of the test is two hours. It normally consists of
around 200 questions covering ENGLISH COMPREHENSION,
GENERAL KNOWLEDGE & AWARENESS, LOGICAL REASONING AND
QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIS
Fees is around Rs 7 lacs. Last date for receipt
of application : FIRST WEEK OF SEPTEMBER

Facilities provided by IIFT Delhi
Located
in the Qutab Institutional Area in close vicinity of Jawaharlal
Nehru University and the Indian Institute of Technology
in New Delhi, India, spreading over six acres of land. The
facilities available on campus include centrally air-conditioned
lecture halls with modern audio-visual aids, conference
halls for round-table conferences, an auditorium of 500
seating capacity, MDP Centre, three Computer Centres, indoor
games, and excellent residential facilities for students.
IIFT
has three state-of-the-art Computer Centres with a Local
Area Network comprising IBM Blade Centre, HP Servers and
300 Pentium Core 2 Duo / IV nodes with wired & wireless
access to the network available in the campus. 24-hour Internet
access via a 8 MBPS leased line.
