About Institute of Management Development
& Research, Pune
IMDR
was established in 1974 as a constituent unit of the Deccan
Education Society. It took over the MBA programme of the
MBA Centre of the University of Pune and the DBM programme,
run in the BMCC (a sister institution) since 1968. Affiliated
to the University of Pune, the IMDR was also a recognised
centre for research leading to Ph D. In 1977, the IMDR became
an autonomous institution by voluntarily delinking from
the University of Pune.

Admissions
to the full-time courses are given to graduates (with
12+3 years of education) through an Entrance Test,
followed by Group Work and Personal Interview. The
Indian Institutes of Management have granted affiliation
to the Institute for the purpose of their Common Admission
Test of graduate programmes in Management.
Fees is around Rs 1.4 Lacs

Institute is equipped with its own Library, Computer Centre,
Conference Hall and Auditorium.
IMDR
Library has a total collection is about 15407 books and
reference sources, 525 CD's, 80 DVD's, 1485 seminar reports/
working papers, 359 audio-visual cassettes. The entire
campus has 80 computers including servers. The campus
is Wi-fi enabled. Students can access the internet daily,
from 9.00am - 9.00pm. All classrooms, auditoriums are
connected via LAN and are well equipped with ceiling mount
DLP projectors and power backup.
