Kousali Institute of Management Studies was established in the year 1976 as a University Management Department to impart quality management education.

Eligibility and Selection Procedure of Kousali Institute of Management Studies

Bachelor's degree (3-year) or equivalent in any discipline. Selection based on Common Admission Test conducted by the PGCET, Government of Karnataka and the performance in GD and Interview.

Academic Programmes offered by Kousali Institute of Management Studies are -

MBA (2yr Programme) - Master of Business Administration – full time course affiliated to Karnatak University. Intake for the course is 60 students
MBA-IB Master of Business Administration in International Business – 2-year full time course affiliated to Karnatak University. Intake is 20 students.
PGDIRM (1yr Programme) - Insurance and Risk Management. Admission is through a Common Admission Process (CAP) conducted by the Admissions Committee of the Post Graduate Department of Management (KIMS) of Karnatak University.
PGDBM (1yr Programme) - PG Diploma in Bank Management. Admission process same as PGDIRM
Part Time MBA - Duration of each semester of every course shall be 16 to 18 weeks from the date of the commencement of the respective semester.
