About NITIE Mumbai
Since
its inception in 1963 , NITIE has achieved significant milestones
in the course of its progress. NITIE has one of the finest
Ergonomics and Human Factors Engineering Laboratories in
addition to Physical Ergonomics, Occupation Health and Safety,
Industrial Environment, Environmental Engineering, Energy
Audit, Maintenance and Condition Monitoring, Audio Visual
and Simulation Laboratories. These labs are at various stages
of the development.
Eligibility, Selection and Fee of NITIE Mumbai

Engineering
/ Technology or equivalent degree with first class.
Every candidate has to qualify through GATE. This
will be followed by Group Discussion and Interview.
Fees is around Rs 2 lacs.

Infrastructure of NITIE Mumbai
The
Academic-cum-library complex and a 15 storeyed student hostel
are going to be started very soon. The classrooms are spacious
and specifically designed to facilitate participative learning.
They are equipped with all the necessary presentation facilities
like overhead projectors and screens. NITIE houses a fully
air-conditioned auditorium with a seating capacity of 200.
All
hostel rooms, classrooms and offices are equipped with 24*7
Internet connectivity with a 2 Mbps leased line. Every classroom
and conference room is fitted with LCD projection facilities
and LAN.
