About Army Institute of Management, Calcutta
National
Institute of Management Calcutta (NIMC) has been established
in Calcutta. The National Institute of Management Calcutta/NIMC
(Now name changed to Army Institute of Management, Kolkata/AIMK)
was established on 28 July 1997 by the Indian Army. The
Institute was established under the aegis of Army Welfare
Education Society (AWES) which is running more than 120
schools and Professional Institutes throughout the country.
Institute aim was to conduct Management Programme for the
wards of Army personnel with an opportunity for the general
candidates as well.
Eligibility, Selection and Fees of Army Institute
of Management, Calcutta
Bachelor’s
Degree in any discipline from any university recognized
by the Association of Indian Universities with 50%
marks. Selection based on CAT Exam Scores followed
by Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI)
held at AIM, Kolkata.
Fees is around Rs 4.25 lacs (Inclusive of Hostel
Charges).

Infrastructure of Army Institute of Management, Calcutta is -
The
Institute has self contained air-conditioned library has
a collection of over 7400 books, reputed national and
international journals on management and allied disciplines.
Army Institute of Management has air-conditioned Lecture
Halls with all modern teaching aids, ie, Computer, LCD
Projector, OHP, sound system etc. 100% well furnished
hostel for Boys & Girls are there in Army Institute of
Management. Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton,
Table Tennis and two well equipped multi gyms facilities
for Boys & Girls are also provided by the Institute.

offers Two-year MBA Programme (full time residential).
The batch strength of the course is 120. AIM follows the
MBA course curriculum of West Bengal University of Technology
(WBUT). Specialization are offered in Marketing, Finance,
Systems and HRM.
