About The Institute of Management
'The
Institute of Management', previously know as Nirma Institute
of Management, is a constituent of the distinguished Nirma
University of Science and Technology. The Institute was
established in 1996 with a view to promote excellence in
management education and to prepare young men & women to
meet the challenges of the developing corporate world.
A
constituent of Nirma University, the Institute of Management
is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC)
under Section 2 (F) of UGC Act. Hence, all the Post-graduate
degree of the Institute is recognized as equivalent to the
Post-graduate degree of any other Indian university.
Eligibility, Selection and Fee of The Institute
of Management
Bachelor's
degree (3-year) or equivalent in any discipline. Final
selection will be based on CAT Exam scores and subsequent
group discussion and personal Interview. Fees is around Rs 5.6 lacs (excluding Hostel charges
of Rs 30000 p.a).

Campus of The Institute of Management
The
Institute is located on the outskirts of Ahmedabad City,
about 5 Kms from the New Gujarat High Court, 25 Kms from
the Railway Station/Air-port and about 20 Kms from the Income
Tax Circle, Ashram Road. Campus atmosphere is conducive
for learning. The classrooms are air-conditioned and equipped
with multimedia and audio-visual equipment to facilitate
effective learning.

The Institute of Management, Executive MBA
programs -
To
fulfil the needs of working executives, managers and entrepreneurs,
the Institute launched Executive Diploma Programmes in the
year 1999. During the academic session of 2010-11, Institute
proposes to offer five programmes: (i) Executive Diploma
in Marketing, (ii) Executive Diploma in Finance, (iii) Executive
Diploma in Human Resource Management, (iv) Executive Diploma
in International Business, and (v) Executive Diploma in
Operations Management.
