About T.A. Pai Management Institute
The
T A Pai Management Institute (TAPMI) located in the international
university town of Manipal (Karnataka). Since its founding
in 1984, TAPMI has received recognition and respect amongst
the well-known industrial houses and academic institutions
in India for the quality of its education. Over the years,
the institute has earned a name for its Post Graduate Programme
in Management (equivalent to an MBA).
Eligibility, Selection and Fee of T.A. Pai Management
Institute

Bachelor's
degree (3-year) or equivalent in any discipline. Based
on scores in CAT / GMAT and academic excellence, work
experience, extra-curriculars and clarity of purpose,
candidates are invited to (GD/PI).
The
current Academic Fee payable by admitted students
for the 2-year PGDM programmes is Rs. 7,15,000/- inclusive
of course material and academic resources. Hostel
Fee is approximately Rs. 1,39,000/- for the two-year
period. Monthly food bill is approximately Rs. 2,400/-
per month.

Infrastructure of T.A. Pai Management Institute
In
January 2009, TAPMI shifted its operations to a new scenic
42-acre residential campus in Manipal. The new facility,
includes a built up area of 2,50,000 sq. ft. to house modern,
state-of-the-art, Wi-Fi-enabled, air-conditioned classrooms
for students, plush offices for faculty and staff, a knowledge
centre, a computer centre, a student’s centre, hostels for
men and women, and residences for faculty and staff. The
student’s centre is home to a canteen, a gym, a yoga and
meditation room, an mini open-air theatre and a convenience
store.

TAPMI’s
PGDM programme is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation
(NBA), India and approved by the All India Council for Technical
Education (AICTE). With introduction of new courses the
intake of students is expected to increase to 360 in 2010.
